Welcome to the artist shop for Malleus Rock Art Lab!
Here you can find all kinds of goodies made with images from our silkscreened posters and graphic designs. Thanks!
Malleus began in the late 90’s creating artworks for the underground music scene, with several different pieces for record covers, music fanzines, website and gig poster designs.
At the end of 2002 Malleus entered the Poster Art scene of today, creating their first handmade silkscreen poster for "The Artifacts of Improbable “, an event to celebrate the Poster Art at The Gallery at the Trocadero Theatre, Philadelphia.
Since then, Malleus have created screen prints for rock acts such as Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Robert Plant, Queens Of The Stone Age and many others all over the world.
Malleus explores all kinds of visual art forms, from illustration to video to hand made silkscreen printing: during the years, Malleus realized also movie posters (like the Dario Argento poster serie in collaboration with the english Dark City Gallery), artworks for books, cd and vinyls, paintings and illustrations.
Some of their posters are conserved in De Young, the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco.
Malleus posters have been featured in The New York Times, MTV, Rock Hard, Rock Sound, Rolling Stones, Sky and many others.
They worked with client such as Volvo, Activision, Mondadori, Feltrinelli, Oakley, Hellfest, Roadburn Festival, House of Mac Duff, Barley Arts, Dark City Gallery, CF Napa Brand Design, Century Guild
